I am being treated for torn rotator cuff injuries in both shoulders. I had restriction of movement and discomfort during my daily workout and could not work the muscles close to the injured areas to assist with movement and strength. The laser treatments lowered the discomfort level and allowed those muscles to be used and developed. My daily workout of stretching, calisthenics and light weights are now more productive.

I received treatment for pain in my right SI joint 2. I had completed a pretty vigorous physical therapy treatment course for my back pain and was discharged with a “we think that’s about as good as it’s going to get” perspective from them. I was still limited in movement and dealing with sharp pain and “pinching” semi-frequently when I would stand up from a chair or get out of the car. I initially had four laser sessions in two weeks and by the 3rd or 4th session had noticed a big difference in pain and movement – both were markedly improved. I continued once a week (with a couple of outages) for 10 sessions and my SI feels 90%+ better than it did at the start. Very glad I tried it!

To say that laser therapy has been life changing sounds extreme and yet, for me, it’s true. I have osteoarthritis in my hip. I had no problem walking or sitting. However, I could only stand for 5-10 minutes before I had significant hip pain. I was told my situation was only going to worsen and was provided the options of steroid injections and physical therapy before hip surgery was required. I wanted to try non-invasive options before going down the road of injections and surgery. I tried many months of physical therapy and multiple other non-invasive treatments to ease the pain. I won’t include the list here because I don’t want to dissuade anyone from trying any non-invasive option that may help them.
They all helped a bit, though none provided significant relief. That is, until I began seeing Michele for laser therapy. She cautioned me that each situation and person is unique. And, because of the chronic nature of my condition, it may take some time to feel relief. I went in with an open mind, as I had with other types of treatment. The evening after my first session, I could already tell something was different…and better. Each session has continued to improve my condition and has allowed me to stand for extended periods of time, sometimes for hours if I’m moving around a bit. I can engage in many activities that I had been limiting due to pain. While I still have hip pain occasionally, it’s infrequent. Laser therapy has opened my world up again. I am truly grateful.

I was in an almost-fatal car accident in September of 2022. I spent a month in hospital, had multiple broken bones, and suffered a brain injury. As a result, I won’t be able to drive again, I’m currently only able to work part-time, and there are about 20 modifications I must make every day to accommodate getting through the day. I started Laser Therapy with Innergy on 6/27/24, and I immediately felt relief from some of these accident-related lifestyle modifications – things like being able to walk better up and down stairs, being able to wash my hair (when my eyes are closed) without getting dizzy, having an increased range of motion, and decreased pain. My depth perception has improved, and my walking has gotten stronger (and less wobbly!).
This has been a HUGE benefit; not only does this feel good physically, but mentally I don’t feel as vulnerable. Additionally, I’m diabetic, so I do 3 insulin injections a day on my tummy. Ideally these injections should rotate between the right and left side. But, post-accident, I couldn’t do an injection on my left side as I couldn’t look down that far without my head/neck/shoulders hurting. After months of painful PT, I could do it, but it was by no means comfortable. Well, on the morning after my first Laser Therapy session (and since then!), I could do insulin shots on my LEFT side because my head/neck/shoulders felt SO much better! It’s truly been so liberating to have increased strength and range of motion with NO pain! It has put hope back on the table. I’m a most appreciative client of Innergy and Dr. Colleen and Michele. I’m so grateful to have them in my medical toolbox.
