Colleen attended Northwestern College of Chiropractic from 1993-1997. Upon graduation, she co-founded a practice in St. Paul, Minnesota where they practiced for five years. Upon the birth of her second child, Colleen decided to practice out of her home in order to be with her children.
Colleen has experience two starkly contrasting birthing experiences her first daughter was breech and born via cesarean section. Her second daughter was born in a birthing tub at home with the assistance of a midwife. These experiences have helped to shape her practice, which includes many mothers, expectant mothers and children. At the request of friends and clients, she has provided her labor support for over a dozen births. Part of the assistance provided includes adjusting the mother during labor and post partum as well as adjusting the baby during the first hour of life outside the womb.
Colleen’s practice incorporates principles of gentle chiropractic and craniosacral techniques, including light touch energy work. Essentially, she works with the body’s innate wisdom by helping remove interferences of the nerve system. Removal of this interference brings balane and harmony to the mind, body and spirit.
